The Wilaya of Mila recorded a production of more than 1,619,000 quintals of garlic during the agricultural season 2025-2026, exceeding the initial expectations of the agricultural services which estimated the expected production at 1,550,000 quintals, according to the Directorate of Agricultural Services of the Wilaya. Béjaïa Port has set a new record in handling bulk cargo, unloading 15,153.60 tons of corn within 24 hours, in an operation conducted directly from the ship to the trucks, according to the Béjaïa Port Authority (EPB).
