The SONATRACH group announced in a statement this Wednesday the delivery of its first shipment of liquefied natural gas to Germany, a step that is expected to enhance its position as a major energy supplier in Europe. This shipment was delivered on July 2 via the floating regasification terminal 'Wilhelmshaven 1', after departing from the gas liquefaction plant 'GL 2 Z' in Bethioua, and was transported aboard the liquefied natural gas carrier 'Tassala' owned by SONATRACH.
