Algiers: New Measures to Enhance the Quality of Public Service for Drinking Water Distribution

The Minister of Water Resources, Lounes Bouzegza, along with the Minister and Governor of Algiers, Abdel Nour Rabhi, chaired a working meeting this Saturday to assess the situation of the sector in the capital. During the meeting, they agreed to take new measures to enhance the quality of public service for drinking water distribution. According to a statement from the ministry, these measures particularly include accelerating the implementation of the important program registered at the level of the Algiers Water Directorate, constructing major storage facilities to ensure optimal control over water distribution and continuity of public service, especially in the event of malfunctions at production facilities.
