The president of the Algerian Economic Club, Said Mansour, confirmed that the opening of a brake systems production plant in the El-Raï area represents an important step in the development of the automotive spare parts industry in Algeria, considering that this activity is no longer just a commercial field, but has become a strategic sector capable of supporting national industry, reducing the import bill, creating thousands of jobs, and enhancing industrial sovereignty. Mansour explained in a statement to 'Echorouk' that the Algerian market is one of the largest car markets in the region, with about seven million vehicles including passenger cars, utility vehicles, trucks, and buses, noting that more than half of this fleet is over 15 years old, which creates a growing and sustainable demand for services.
