On Wednesday night, work began on the construction of port facilities for the mining dock as part of the integrated phosphate project at the Port of Annaba. This took place during a ceremony overseen by the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mohamed Arkab. Arkab was accompanied by the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellali, and the Minister of Mines and Mining Industries, Mourad Hanifi. Arkab explained that the operation is part of the field monitoring of various components of the integrated phosphate project.
Oil prices rose yesterday, Wednesday, by nearly four percent at settlement. Brent crude futures jumped by $3.83, or 3.86 percent, to settle at $103.08 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude futures increased by $1.64, equivalent to 1.81 percent, settling at $92.16.
