The Spanish airline Swiftair was fined 225,000 € for involuntary manslaughter – the maximum penalty provided by French law – after the crash of flight AH5017 of Air Algérie in 2014, which claimed the lives of 116 people on board, including 54 French and 6 Spanish crew members, reported in its latest edition.
