Algeria - The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion announced the launch of a new operation to export electronic and household appliances manufactured in Algeria, tomorrow Thursday, to six foreign markets.
Starting today, the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mohamed Arkab, will begin a work and inspection visit to the provinces of Annaba, Souk Ahras, Tebessa, and Bir El Ater, accompanied by a ministerial delegation, for the official launch of the integrated phosphate project works, according to a statement from the ministry on Wednesday.

Algeria's natural gas production increased by 4% during the first seven months of 2026, reaching 62.621 billion cubic meters, compared to 60.184 billion cubic meters during the same period last year, coinciding with a strong increase in domestic consumption, especially from the electricity generation sector.
