Foreign trade: Algerian exports to Africa soar by over 100%

According to the Italian economic media, based on data communicated by Ali Bey Nasri, vice-president of the National Association of Algerian Exporters (ANEXAL), Algerian sales of non-hydrocarbon products to Africa rose from about 1.38 billion euros in the first half of 2025 to nearly 2.77 billion euros in the first six months of 2026. At this rate, exports could reach 6.46 billion euros, or about 7 billion dollars, by the end of the year, an unprecedented level for Algerian non-hydrocarbon exports to the continent.
