
Algerian crude in Poland's calculations.. Is the deal approaching?
The Polish energy company 'Orlen' is moving towards purchasing a shipment of Algerian crude for delivery in October 2026, as part of a tender issued by the company to seek alternatives to Saudi supplies affected by attacks on the main oil export pipeline to the Red Sea, according to trade sources cited by Reuters. According to the agency's report, 'Orlen' is also looking for North Sea crude in the same tender, while another tender has been issued for Guyana crude for delivery in November, with the results of these tenders not yet available at the time of Reuters' report.
