The National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources “Naftal” is participating in the African Energy Week conference and exhibition, scheduled to be held from October 12 to 16 in Cape Town, South Africa, to promote the “Algeria Bid Round 2026” and attract international investors, after about 60 companies expressed interest in participating in the round which includes seven exploratory blocks, with bids to be submitted and envelopes opened on January 25, 2027, and contracts for hydrocarbons to be signed with SONATRACH by March 31 of the same year.
