Professor of economics and finance, Hakim Bouharb, emphasized the effectiveness of the ongoing economic reforms in Algeria, as highlighted by the International Monetary Fund, pointing to improvements in some financial indicators as well as the development of activity in various sectors. Hakim Bouharb, who was a guest on the Multimedia Economy program of Algerian Radio, added that the Fund expects the Algerian economy to grow by 3.8 percent during the current year 2026, after recording 3.9 percent in the previous year 2025, which reflects a real improvement in the performance of the national economy.
