Algeria - The 25th International Petroleum-Energy Conference 'WPC Energy' was inaugurated today, Monday, in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, with the participation of the Minister of State for Energy, Mohamed Arkab, and the Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjoul, according to a statement from the Ministry of Energy.

Gold prices rose on Monday, supported by a weaker dollar and falling oil prices. Spot gold increased by 0.3 percent to $4206.01 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures for December rose 0.3 percent to $4230.40. For other precious metals, silver rose 0.5 percent to $61.12 per ounce, platinum increased by one percent to $1704.70, and palladium rose by 1.2 percent to $1161.81.
