
Mers El Kébir Port Addresses Damaged Goods That Have Been at the Port Since 1993
The port authority of Mers El Kébir has initiated a field operation to address damaged goods that have remained at the port since 1993, in a move aimed at freeing up port spaces occupied for decades, improving security and safety conditions, protecting the environment, and enhancing the efficiency of port facility utilization. The authority stated in a press release that the operation is in line with the instructions of the Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, Saïd Sayoud, aimed at improving the utilization of port spaces and facilities and enhancing coordination among various institutions, alongside implementing the field directives of the port services group 'SARBOR'.
