Settlement of outstanding transfers less than 10 billion centimes before Ramadan
It is expected that, before the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the vast majority of financial transfers valued at less than ten billion centimes will be settled, according to what was confirmed by the Director General of the Treasury and Accounting, Hajj Mohamed Seba, during a session of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National People's Assembly, while discussing the draft budget settlement law for the year 2023. The Director General explained, in response to an intervention by a member of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National People's Assembly, Kamal Belkhodhar, that this category of transfers represents more than 30,000 financial transfers, or about 95 percent of the total approved transfers, reflecting the Treasury's commitment to expedite the disbursement of financial dues before the holy month arrives, and reassuring institutions and individuals benefiting from these transfers.
