OPEC+: Algeria and 6 other countries decide to increase their production by 188,000 barrels per day starting from next August
Algeria and six other countries from the OPEC+ group decided this Sunday to collectively raise their production by 188,000 barrels per day, starting from next August, while committing to a cautious approach to maintain market stability. This decision came during a ministerial meeting, held via video conferencing, which included the seven member countries of OPEC+ (the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its non-member allies), which implemented voluntary adjustments to their crude oil production, namely: Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Oman, and Russia.
