Ceasefire: 1535 attacks on electrical cables and SONELGAZ losses estimated at 819 million dinars

Khalil Hedna, Director of Information at the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, revealed that attacks on the equipment and electrical cables belonging to SONELGAZ and their theft are witnessing a concerning escalating trend, especially copper and aluminum cables, which increases the burdens on SONELGAZ and affects the effectiveness of the electrical network. Khalil Hedna stated during his appearance this Wednesday on the program 'Guest of the Morning' on the first radio channel that the theft operations reached 1535 attacks against electrical facilities, leading to fluctuations and interruptions in the electricity supply network for citizens.
