Naftal ensures continuity of fuel supply during Independence Day holiday and legislative elections

The National Company for Marketing and Distribution of Petroleum Products 'Naftal' announced this Wednesday that its services will continue normally during the period from July 2 to July 5, coinciding with the legislative elections and the celebrations marking the 64th anniversary of Independence Day. The company clarified in a statement that all its stations and sales points will continue to operate under the 24-hour duty system, as is the case throughout the year.

Oil Heads for Largest Quarterly Loss Since 2020

Oil prices are heading for the largest quarterly losses since the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. August Brent crude futures, which expire on Tuesday, fell by 0.3 percent or 23 cents to settle at $72.92 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude for August also dropped by 1.8 percent or $1.25, reaching $69.50 a barrel. Both crude benchmarks are nearing the levels at which they were trading on February 27.
