Oil prices rise by more than 7 percent

Oil prices rose by more than 7 percent this Monday after falling by more than 9 percent last Friday. Brent crude futures jumped by $6.56 per barrel, an increase of 7.26 percent, reaching $96.94 per barrel. The price of West Texas Intermediate crude reached $89.92 per barrel, up $6.07 or 7.24 percent.
