American Center: Algeria Strengthens Its Position as a Regional Power Attractive to Investments
The American Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) confirmed that Algeria continues to solidify its position as an emerging regional power through its policy of openness to investments and its efforts to enhance its role as a strategic hub connecting the Mediterranean Sea, the Sahel, and North Africa. The center's lead researcher on the Prosperity and Development Project, Romina Pandora, stated in a recent study based on the results of her visit to Algeria in May 2026, that she met with government officials, industrial sector actors, and representatives from research centers, noting that Algeria possesses significant natural resources, a moderate climate, and qualified human resources that support growth and development prospects.
