The Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Wassim Gouidi, confirmed that the World Health Organization lifted over 82% of the reservations related to Algeria reaching the third maturity level in the pharmaceutical industry. Gouidi stated in a speech delivered on his behalf by the head of his office, Ben Slimane Fouad, during the launch of a workshop dedicated to the self-assessment of the national pharmaceutical regulation system, that previous workshops allowed for the review and updating of many regulatory texts and procedures, which enabled the lifting of more than 82% of the reservations recorded by World Health Organization experts through the initial assessment, reflecting the extent of progress achieved and confirming that Algeria is steadily moving towards reaching the third regulatory maturity level.

The construction works of the Eastern Mining Line project are accelerating as the pillars are being installed using advanced engineering techniques.
