The minister explained, during the launch ceremony held during a working visit and inspection yesterday, that the project will be completed and handed over within 18 months, highlighting its role in supporting gas supply and contributing to improving living conditions. Signing Contracts for Completion of Major Seawater Desalination Plants in Three Algerian States

The Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Energy and Mines, supervised the signing of contracts for the completion of three major seawater desalination plants in three Algerian states, in line with the instructions of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to strengthen national water security and ensure regular supply of drinking water. The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of Sonatrach's General Directorate in Algiers, and includes the completion of new seawater desalination plants in the states of Tlemcen, Chlef, and Mostaganem, as well as the signing of a memorandum of understanding.
