Khalil Hadna, the Director of Information at the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, confirmed this Wednesday that the technical malfunction affecting the electrical facility in Sidi Akba (Biskra Province) was an 'exceptional incident' that was managed in a short time, adding that the situation is currently stable.
The Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion announced this Wednesday in a statement the issuance of new ministerial decisions that delegate authority to representatives of the tax and energy administrations at its one-stop shops, as part of completing the activation of this mechanism aimed at simplifying administrative procedures and accelerating the realization of investment projects. The agency clarified that these decisions, published in issue 49 of the official gazette, come in application of the provisions of Article 22 of Executive Decree No. 26-153 dated April 14, 2026, which includes the reorganization of the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion.
