How to Submit Import Files Before Inspecting Goods at Ports
Two reference numbers to link import files with inspection teams - Paper documents remain temporarily pending the platform's readiness. The trade services issued new clarifications regarding the procedures for submitting import declarations through the single window and completing compliance and field inspection operations, following what was previously established by the customs administration and published by 'Echorouk' earlier, regarding the launch of the 'Unified Electronic Window' within the customs information system, which included a shift towards digitizing licenses and administrative certificates and gradually dispensing with paper documents. A memo issued on August 30 by the Border Inspection for Quality Control and Fraud Prevention at the Port of Algiers outlined the stages that must be followed.
