Stellantis: Increase in Deliveries in Algeria Mitigates Global Performance Decline

The increase in deliveries of the Stellantis group in Algeria during the third quarter of 2026 has helped mitigate its performance decline in the Middle East and Africa, coinciding with the advancement of its plans to expand local production at the Tiaret plant in Oran province, which aims to raise its production capacity to 135,000 vehicles annually by 2028, according to the Italian news agency Agenzia Nova. The agency reported in a report published on Tuesday that deliveries in the Middle East and Africa declined by about 20,000 vehicles, or 21% year-on-year, primarily affected by a drop in sales in Turkey of about 21,000 units, amid a weak market and a decline in deliveries of imported vehicles, ahead of the start of production.
