Launch of 280 investment projects in the tourism sector over the past three years

The Director General of the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion, Omar Rakash, announced today, Saturday, May 23, in Mostaganem, that the agency has recorded a total of 280 investment projects in the tourism sector from November 1, 2022, to May 15 of this year, with declared investments exceeding 257.5 billion Algerian dinars, expecting to create more than 17,000 direct jobs, reflecting the growing interest in this sector as one of the promising investment areas, according to a statement from the agency. Rakash, during an informational day organized by Algerian television, also revealed the completion of preparations for the launch of several real estate opportunities aimed at tourism investment across several provinces of the country.
