The Ministry of Internal Trade and Regulation of the National Market has begun implementing a new package of regulatory and supervisory measures to address the impacts of the record rise in temperatures on the supply of the national market and the safety of food products. This is being done through the issuance of new provincial decisions on Thursday to regulate certain sensitive commercial activities, alongside the launch of a national program to monitor refrigeration rooms and storage spaces, and intensifying joint field outings across various provinces.
