The President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during his chairing of a Cabinet meeting today, Sunday, directed the doubling of production by national companies and enterprises to meet the requirements for major infrastructure preparation, according to a statement from the Cabinet. The same source clarified that regarding the encouragement of national production, 'the President directed the government to take the necessary measures immediately to effectively involve national companies and enterprises in doubling production at all levels to meet the requirements for major infrastructure preparation of various goods and services.'

Record exports exceeding 7 billion dollars and these initial indicators
Dates from 120 to 250 million dollars with a target of 300 million dollars by the end of 2026. Exports to Africa doubled during the first half, achieving 3 billion dollars. Algeria's non-hydrocarbon exports to Africa doubled in one year, after a year of organizing the fourth edition of the African Continental Trade Fair in Algeria, rising from about 1.5 billion dollars during the first half of 2025 to nearly 3 billion dollars during the same period in 2026. At a time when the value of exports by the end of this year is heading towards recording a new record estimated at about 7 billion dollars, driven by rising external demand for Algerian products and the growing surplus of national production available for export.
