
Oil: Brent crude above $80 per barrel
Oil prices recorded a slight increase today, Wednesday, after a 10 percent decline since the beginning of the week, amid market anticipation of geopolitical developments in the Middle East. In early morning trading, the price of Brent crude for October delivery rose by 1.34 percent to $80.42 per barrel. Meanwhile, its American counterpart, West Texas Intermediate crude for September delivery, increased by 0.70 percent to $76.30 per barrel.
