Reforms Lasting 20 Months Behind Algeria's Exit from the FATF Grey List
Economic development expert Abdel Rahman Hadef confirmed that Algeria's removal from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list was the culmination of financial and legal reforms that lasted about 20 months, considering that the decision will enhance the confidence of foreign investors and support the attractiveness of the national economy. Hadef explained, during his appearance on the 'Guest of the Morning' program on the first radio channel, that the approval of all members of the 'FATF' group to lift Algeria from the grey list reflects the success of the measures taken by the Algerian authorities in combating money laundering and financing terrorism, and confirms international confidence in the completed reforms.
