Algeria - The control services of the Ministry of Internal Trade and Regulation of the National Market, through nearly two million interventions, have uncovered a hidden turnover exceeding 17 billion DZD and seized goods worth more than 1 billion DZD during the first seven months of the current year, according to a report released today, Sunday, by the ministry.
The first seven months of 2026 witnessed intensive activity from inspection teams, with 1,536,920 interventions recorded, resulting in the observation of 519,131 violations that led to the drafting of 150,127 reports for judicial follow-up, according to a statement from the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Regulation, today Sunday.
