Production of oil, sugar, and wheat rises to record levels in preparation for Ramadan

The central director at the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Regulation, Daachi El Hajj, revealed that seven producers of cooking oil have increased their daily production from 2400 tons to 3600 tons, while five producers of sugar have raised their output from 3700 tons to 4000 tons daily. The head of the regional trade directorate for the center, Mohamed Salami, stated in a statement to 'APS' that these measures are part of the preparations for the holy month, and the inspection teams have been distributed across the provinces of Blida, Tizi Ouzou, Médéa, Ain Defla, Bouira, and Djelfa, noting that the teams will intensify their daily outings to ensure the availability of various goods.
