The southern borders turn into a massive investment gateway between Algeria and Niger
Cooperation between Algeria and Niger is witnessing a critical phase towards transforming the southern borders into a real economic engine, as confirmed by the President of the Algerian Economic Club, Said Mansour, in a statement to 'Echorouk'. The initiatives include the establishment of an integrated network for the maintenance and distribution of automotive spare parts in Tamanrasset and Adrar extending towards Niger, to ensure the continuity of desert transport and support the sectors of energy, mining, and infrastructure. These projects aim to create thousands of job opportunities for youth, integrating qualified labor and developing their skills in line with market needs, while enhancing economic integration between the two countries by activating inter-trade, simplifying customs procedures, and encouraging investment.
