The Port of Sohar in the Sultanate of Oman recorded the success of the largest operation for transferring ammonia from one ship to another, in a step described as a maritime first that supports efforts to decarbonize the maritime shipping sector, and enhances the trend of using ammonia as a low-emission fuel.
