The President of the National Agency for Hydrocarbon Valorization, Samir Bakhti, announced that the opening of bids for the 'Algeria Bid Round 2026' will take place on April 26, and will cover seven areas designated for hydrocarbon exploration, as part of a competitive process extending until November 26, 2026. Samir Bakhti explained during his appearance on the 'Guest of the Morning' program on the first radio channel that this round targets significant energy potential, with total resources in the offered areas estimated at around 1.8 billion barrels of oil and 8.63 billion cubic meters of gas, in addition to reserves estimated at 239 million barrels of oil and 19 billion cubic meters of gas. On Tuesday, the Commission for the Regulation and Monitoring of Stock Operations 'COSOB' granted its approval for the information memorandum regarding the increase of the capital of the public economic institution 'EPE CRAPC EXPERTISE SPA' by 15%, through a public savings offering by issuing 39,000 new shares on the Algerian Stock Exchange, which will be listed in the growth section of the capital market. According to a statement from the commission, the total value of the issuance is 62,400,000 Algerian Dinars, with the price of each share set at 1,600 Algerian Dinars, and a specified maturity date of January 1, 2026. The shares will be issued in the form of bearer shares, non-material, and registered in accounts with authorized account keepers and bond custodians.
