SONATRACH Strengthens Its Presence in Europe with First LNG Shipment to Germany
The group 'SONATRACH' announced in a statement today, Wednesday, the delivery of its first shipment of liquefied natural gas to Germany, a step that is expected to enhance its position as a major energy supplier in Europe. According to the same source, this shipment was delivered on July 2 via the floating regasification terminal 'Wilhelmshaven 1', after departing from the gas liquefaction plant 'GL2Z' in Bethioua, and was transported aboard the liquefied natural gas carrier 'Tassala' owned by 'SONATRACH'. This operation reflects 'the group's ability to seize opportunities presented by developments in the international natural gas market, while simultaneously working to enhance the valuation of its resources in strategically promising markets.'
